Break down the walls of “I can’t”.

Practice mindfulness.

Be committed.

Curious about the how/when/where/and why we create and why the stuckness, stops us dead in our tracks. I’m on a mission to figure out how to overcome the stuckness, or at least bypass it. I’ve attended many workshops over the years, and the main idea I’ve learned is to just write and keep writing. Great advice for sure. But I know there are others like myself, who still stare at a blank page and think: why am I doing this? what was I thinking? And then, we walk away, leaving our work to get dusty and rusty. Is it that simple? To just write and keep writing? Maybe… But I think there may be some wise words out there I haven’t found yet that will give me better insight. As I find them, I will share them.

Everything around us is inspiration: art, cooking, photography, science, spirituality, whatever…

My kids teach me every day that’s it’s never too late to do what you love.

I’m off to see the world with new eyes, determined to live a wonderful life.

juliet 🙂

p.s. I learn by doing. Therefore I will, admittedly, make mistakes. I ask, in advance, for lenience and patience. Life’s an adventure. If I were afraid to fail I’d never take a step…failing is inevitable, to succeed is a choice.

P.S.S. I have recently joined the AMAZON ASSOCIATES PROGRAM. If you purchase anything I provide a link to on Amazon, I will eventually receive a small percentage. But…just so you know…I won’t put anything on here I wouldn’t buy myself. In fact, some of them I have purchased already. Thanks for the support. 🙂

  1. Hello fellow campaigner! As a member of the nonfiction group (otherwise known as #53), I wanted you to know I will be featuring you on my blog during the campaign period. Every Friday from 9/23 through 10/28, I will feature several of the writers from our group. This will include a link to your site (the same link you used when joining the campaign) as well as an excerpt from your About Me page. Be sure to check my blog to see when you are featured. I will be going through the list in order.

You can visit my blog at

I look forward to getting to know you and your work, and helping others get to know you as well!

    Happy Campaigning!
