YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER.
“All the darkness in the world cannot extinquish the light of a single candle.” ~ St. Francis of Assisi
This post is in honor of Amy Bleuel, the founder of Project Semicolon. It is a project dedicated to helping people who struggle with mental illness. Sadly, on March 23, 2017, she committed suicide. My heart breaks for her and her family. She was, and will continue to be, a light in this world for those who suffer with mental illness.
If you or a loved one struggles with any mental illness, especially suicidal thoughts, PLEASE ASK FOR HELP.
DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE
**YOU ARE NOT ALONE.**
Visit Project Semicolon to read Amy’s story, and to FIND HELP if you need it.
Take some time to read some very personal stories from those who struggle and how they have found a safe haven and love within this project.
In love and rememberance of Amy Bleuel 🕯❤ and for those whose story isn’t over;
I send love.
Some days there’s nothing…
Today I give in to the silence. I stopped fighting it. The demands have ceased. The frustration gave way to acquiescence. Today I let go. In the quiet I will find truth and maybe some beauty.

There are times when all you can do is get through the responsibilities in your life. Taxes, family, graduations, writing, work, vacation planning, trying to be a good person, just to name a few. Then I remember how lucky I am and that thought alone makes it all easier. As much as possible, I write down snippets, words, moments that stand out, that challenge, that mean something. When I get time, I will add them into my WIP in some way.
That is writing.
That is living.

My heart breaks for San Bernadino. You’re ALL in my thoughts and prayers.
Lots of love and healing,
